Multiple Triathlon Events Will Be Held In Wuhan
Recently, the press conference for the 2024 Wuhan Triathlon Asian Cup, the 2024 Wuhan National Triathlon Championship Cup Series and U Series Championship Cup, and the 2024 China Wuhan Triathlon Open was held in Jiangxia District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province. The event will start at the Liangzi Lake Triathlon Venue in Jiangxia District from September 14 to 15. At that time, more than 800 "iron men" will gather in Jiangxia, Wuhan to show the beauty of sports.
It is reported that this competition will bring together multiple high-end triathlon events in one city for the first time, which will attract elite athletes, triathletes, sports enthusiasts and young players of different ages from all over the world to participate.
At the press conference, the organizing committee of the event released the event promotional video, event grouping, competition distance, competition schedule, open competition logo, event medals and other related content. The event has a total of standard iron full, standard iron half, short distance, mixed relay, biathlon, biathlon mixed relay, biathlon relay and cycling relay.
It is worth mentioning that the China Wuhan Triathlon Open has made bold innovations in the competition system, adding two relay groups for cycling and running. Similarly, the U Series Champions Cup, as an important part of this series, aims to inspire the potential of young people through the competition, make sports a bridge connecting dreams and reality, and discover the future stars of youth triathlon.
The 2024 China Wuhan Triathlon Open event logo was released on site. The event logo uses the first letter "W" of Wuhan and the "3" representing triathlon as the main image, and uses an abstract artistic expression method to express the three sports of "swimming, cycling, and running". The overall simplicity and uniqueness highlight the beauty of the combination of speed and strength of triathlon.
The event is hosted by the Asian Triathlon Federation and the Chinese Triathlon Association, guided by the Hubei Provincial Sports Bureau, hosted by the Wuhan Sports Bureau and the People's Government of Jiangxia District, Wuhan, and co-organized by the Wuhan Social Sports Guidance Center and the Culture and Tourism Bureau (Sports Bureau) of Jiangxia District, Wuhan.
