2024 “Ode Cup” Mishan Xingkai Lake National Beautiful Countryside Triathlon kicked off
On September 1, the 2024 "Ode Cup" Mishan Xingkai Lake National Beautiful Countryside Triathlon was launched. More than 400 "triathlon" athletes from nine countries around the world surpassed themselves and challenged their limits on the beautiful Xingkai Lake. With extraordinary skills and perseverance, they showed their triathlon style on this land of struggle and wrote a new chapter of the triathlon spirit.
The competition was hosted by the China Triathlon Association and the People's Government of Mishan City, undertaken by the Mishan Municipal Bureau of Culture, Sports, Radio, Film and Television and Tourism and the Baiyuwan Town Government of Mishan City, supported by Mishan Aode Gas Co., Ltd., and exclusively operated by Dazheng (Mishan) Creative Design Management Co., Ltd. Ji Daoming, Chairman of the China Triathlon Association, and our city leaders Wang Shiqiang, Han Dongyun, Wang Lin, Han Yongji, and Lu Xuefeng attended the opening ceremony of the event, and Zhou Jing, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Minister of the Propaganda Department, presided over the opening ceremony.

This event has set up multiple age groups, and different age groups will complete different distances. The full-course group competition distance is 51.5 kilometers, the half-course group competition distance is 26.85 kilometers, and the running and cycling group competition distance is 26 kilometers. It fully tests the physical fitness, skills and willpower of the contestants, provides a suitable venue for contestants of different ages and needs, and encourages everyone to constantly challenge themselves, break through themselves, and show the indomitable ironman spirit. After fierce competition, the men's full-course group champion was won by Zhai Shangyuan, and Wang Yanni won the women's full-course group champion.
The men's full-course 30-39 years old group champion Ogunif Jenis said: The competition in Mishan gives people a great feeling. I have experience in participating in international competitions. The organization work here is very good. The competition is a super value and beautiful enjoyment. We will come here with a friendly spirit to pass on the competition experience. I love Mishan, and this competition is worthwhile.
